The Frills Of A Timeshare Resort

  By Marigold R Flores

Timeshare resorts are seemly options for people wanting to take a posh vacation at a reasonably low cost.  For the past decades, a lot of the major names actively involve in the hotel and resort business have expanded and joined in the timeshare market.  In the middle of the 80’s, Marriott resort came into being, and then followed by the Disney Resort in 1991.  After which, resort after resort broke into the American market such as Four Seasons Resort, the hotel chain of Ritz-Carlton, followed by International and Resort Condominiums, Inc.

Among the timeshare resorts, Marriott proved to be the most successful, so far.  Alternately, the hotel and resort timeshare owners skip their visits in order to earn more points that they may use with the other Marriott hotels in any part of the world, or they may swap with the other timeshare owners like that with Interval International.  A one-week ownership of such resort ranges from $9,000 up to $51,900.  Prices depend on the season and the resort and its annual fee ranges between $350 and $500.

Another timeshare resort, the luxurious and amusing Walt Disney World is mostly based on point system.  All timeshare owners can enjoy their vacations in any of the resort’s five branches worldwide.  A family with 230 points has the privilege to stay in the resort for one week.  Annual fees are from $475 to $600 specifically for entry-level packages.  Meanwhile, in the Four Seasons, a stay in their 1,670 square-foot villa with two bedrooms for a week will cost a whooping $39,9000 on peak seasons in Scottsdale, and annual maintenance is $1,084.

Furthermore, the Hilton chain of hotels and resorts operate 20-timeshare resorts all throughout the globe.  Their prices start at $15,900 per week with $600 as the annual fee.  Other timeshare resorts are abundant in Egypt, wherein large service industries are located.  All of which are equipped to manage great number of tourists and visitors.  The United States of America holds the second large number of timeshare resorts.

Worldmark by Wyndam is another timeshare vacation resort in the US based on the popular point system.  Most of its resorts are sprawled on the West Coast.  Currently, this company is operating more than 60 resorts already, scattered in America, Canada, as well as few in Fiji and Mexico.  One of the fitting points of a timeshare resort based on the point system is to be able to take advantage of the dozens or more properties to take on a vacation to.  Unlike the fixed week timeshare setups, which require you to be on the same place and time each year, the point-based system allows you to choose when and where you like to travel next.  You can take your pick whether you want to go on a ski vacation in Colorado this year and then spend your summer in San Diego the following year.  With the timeshare points, your choices are vast and inviting.

There are bounteous timeshare resorts all over the world, from the American grounds to the Asian regions.  Like any other traditional timeshare, it is crucial that you know all the important details first before you decide to purchase, as this will certainly save you money and grief.  If you decide to opt for an inclusive timeshare, be sure to know what is being covered.  Timeshare resorts also vary with their inclusion packages.  That is why, it is essential that you inquire beforehand.

Timeshare resorts are normally situated in the world’s amazing destinations.  Which one do you always dream of going?  True enough, such unbelievable vacations spots are expensive, but being timeshare owners, you can take the leisure of vacationing into such fabulous resorts with just a fraction of the total costs of a regular hotel vacation.
